Salesforce to Acquire Digital Content Platform Contentful

By Katherine Hamilton

Salesforce agreed to acquire Contentful, a content management platform for creating and deploying digital content.

The software company said Monday it will integrate Contentful into its operations, making the product accessible across Salesforce's apps, including its AI platform Agentforce.

Agentforce agents will be able to ask for, assemble and deliver digital content from Contentful without manual publishing steps, Salesforce said.

Salesforce didn't disclose terms of the deal. It expects the transaction to close in the third fiscal quarter.

Contentful is used by more than 4,800 customers, Salesforce said.

Salesforce shares rose 10% to $210.41 on Monday.
