Silver Lake-Backed Entrata Files for Initial Public Offering
By Colin Kellaher
Entrata, the property-management-software company backed by private-equity firm Silver Lake, has filed for an initial public offering.
The filing Thursday by the Lehi, Utah, company doesn't indicate how many shares it plans to offer or how much it is looking to raise.
Technology-focused Silver Lake, which has about $117 billion of assets under management and controlled capital, initially invested in Entrata in July 2021 and took a majority stake in the company in March 2022.
Entrata, which last year received a $200 million investment from alternative asset manager Blackstone at a $4.3 billion valuation, will remain controlled by Silver Lake after the IPO, according to the filing.
Entrata said it recorded revenue of $536 million and net income of $60 million for the 12 months ended March 31.
The company said it has applied to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ENT.
