Delivery Hero Gets $11.60 Billion Takeover Proposal From Uber

Delivery Hero said it received a takeover approach from Uber that values the German delivery company at around 10 billion euros ($11.60 billion).
The indicative proposal represents 33 euros a share to all shareholders of the company, Delivery Hero said. The company said it remains fully focused on executing its strategic review process and will provide further updates when required or appropriate.
Last week, San Francisco-based Uber acquired additional shares in Delivery Hero, raising its stake to 19.5%, with a further option to go to 25.1%.
Delivery Hero shares closed at 33.59 euros on Friday.
