S&P Global commenced a private offering of $2 billion in senior notes by Mobility Global ahead of a planned spinoff of the mobility business.
The financial intelligence company said Monday that Mobility Global has also entered into a $500 million senior unsecured revolving credit facility.
Mobility Global plans to use the proceeds from the offering to pay S&P Global a cash consideration for transferring certain assets, liabilities and entities. It expects to use any remaining proceeds to fund estimated fees and expenses and for general corporate purposes.
The notes included in the offering are due 2029, 2031 and 2036, S&P Global said.
