Siemens Backs Former Nestle CEO Mark Schneider as Next Chairman
By Cristina Gallardo
Siemens' supervisory board said it intends to elect former Nestle Chief Executive Mark Schneider as the next company chairman immediately after its annual shareholders' meeting in 2027.
The German industrial company said Tuesday that its board had unanimously backed Schneider as successor to departing Chairman Jim Hagemann Snabe. Schneider will be elected following Siemens' annual general meeting on Feb. 11, 2027, Siemens said in a statement.
Schneider joined the supervisory board in 2025, and has worked closely with the group's businesses, the company said.
Ola Rollen, Marion Helmes and Christoph von Seidel will be proposed as new board members, it added.
Meanwhile, Regina Dugan, Keryn Lee James and Matthias Zachert will be proposed for re-election, it said.
Snabe, Nathalie Von Siemens and Benoit Potier will leave the board at the end of the AGM, the company said.
