Geely Automobile Shares Fall After Flat 2025 Earnings

Geely Automobile's shares fall sharply in Hong Kong after the Chinese carmaker reported flat annual net profit despite higher sales and margins.
The stock fell about 6% to a low of 17.70 Hong Kong dollars on Wednesday after the results. Shares were recently down about 2.7%, compared with the benchmark Hang Seng Index's 0.8% rise.
The company earlier posted full-year net profit of 16.85 billion yuan, equivalent to $2.45 billion, up 0.2% from 2024. Its revenue rose 25% to 345.23 billion yuan.
Analyst had expected net profit of 16.20 billion yuan and revenue of 340.33 billion yuan for the year, according to a Visible Alpha consensus estimate.
