Oracle Plans Thousands of Job Cuts, Bloomberg Reports, Citing Sources

--Oracle is planning to cut thousands of jobs across divisions as soon as this month, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

--Some of the layoffs will affect job categories that the company expects it will need less of due to artificial intelligence, two of the people said, according to Bloomberg.

--Oracle announced internally this week that it would review open job listings in its cloud division, Bloomberg said, citing people with knowledge of the move.

--Oracle declined to comment, Bloomberg said.
