Heidelberg Materials Posts Higher Earnings, Revenue

Heidelberg Materials posted higher full-year earnings and revenue, supported by cost management and a diversified geographical presence.
The German building materials group on Wednesday said that its results from current operations before depreciation and amortization--the company's preferred metric--for 2025 were 4.68 billion euros ($5.51 billion) compared with 4.50 billion euros in the prior-year.
Net profit amounted to 1.94 billion euros, up from 1.78 billion euros.
Results from current operations rose to 3.38 billion euros from 3.20 billion euros, with revenue that rose to 21.46 billion euros from 21.16 billion euros.
Analysts had expected full-year revenue at 21.62 billion euros, results from current operations before depreciation and amortization at 4.69 billion euros, and results from current operations at 3.38 billion euros, according to consensus estimates provided by the company.
The company posted a return on invested capital at 10.4% compared to the previous year of 9.9%.
"We are optimistic about the current 2026 financial year," Chairman of the managing board, Dominik von Achten, said.
For 2026, the company targets results from current operations between 3.40 billion and 3.75 billion euros, and a return on invested capital above 10%.
"Even though the construction sector remains volatile in some regions, we expect our core markets to continue to stabilize," Von Achten added.
