Chubb Names Scott Henck as Chief Actuary
By Katherine Hamilton
Chubb named Scott Henck as global chief actuary.
Henck is being promoted from his role as chief actuary of North America and he succeeds Paul O'Connell, who is retiring, the insurance firm said Thursday.
Henck will start his new role, in which he will oversee all actuarial functions, on April 1.
Henck joined Chubb in 2002 and started as North America chief actuary in 2019. He founded and led the actuarial insights, business intelligence and advanced analytics unit for Chubb's global-claims segment.
Cynthia Bentley, who is currently head actuary for North America commercial insurance, will be promoted to succeed Henck. She previously led major-accounts actuarial support for Chubb's property-and-specialty and financial-lines businesses.
