Legrand Posts Higher Revenue Driven by Data Center Demand
By Nina Kienle
Legrand's net profit and revenue for 2025 rose, supported by strong demand in its data centers business and acquisitions.
The French electrical and digital building infrastructure manufacturer on Thursday posted net profit for the full year of 1.24 billion euros ($1.47 billion), up from 1.17 billion euros the prior year, on sales that rose 9.6% to 9.48 billion euros.
Net profit came in slightly below analysts' forecast of 1.25 billion euros, according to consensus estimates provided by Visible Alpha.
Revenue exceeded analysts' expected 9.46 billion euros, according to the same consensus, but came in line with Legrand's expectation of sales growth in the range between 10% and 12%.
Operating profit rose to 1.81 billion euros from 1.64 billion euros, with an adjusted operating margin after acquisitions of 20.7%. The figure came in line with Legrand's expected range of 20.5% to 21.0%.
The company said it would propose a dividend of 2.38 euros per share, an 8.2% raise compared to the prior year.
The company delivered a strong performance despite a still muted building market, Chief Executive Benoit Coquart said.
For 2026, Legrand said it targets further sales growth of between 10% and 15%, as well as an adjusted operating margin after acquisitions of between 20.5% and 21.0%.
