Bharti Airtel Quarterly Net Profit Falls

Bharti Airtel reported a fall in third-quarter net profit despite higher revenue.
The Indian telecom company said Thursday that net profit fell 55% from a year earlier to 66.305 billion rupees, equivalent to $733.3 million, for the three months ended December.
That missed the estimate of 71.35 billion rupees in a poll of analysts by Visible Alpha.
Third-quarter revenue climbed 20% from a year earlier to 539.82 billion rupees.
