Mitsubishi UFJ Maintains Annual Profit Goal

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group maintained its annual net-profit target after reporting higher nine-month earnings.
The Japanese financial company said Wednesday that net profit rose 3.7% from a year earlier to 1.814 trillion yen, equivalent to $11.65 billion, for the nine months ended December.
For the fiscal year ending March, Mitsubishi UFJ continues to target a 13% increase in its net profit to Y2.1 trillion.
