Kuaishou's Kling AI Video-Generation Tool Could Maintain Lead — Market Talk

0350 GMT - Kuaishou's Kling AI could maintain its leading position among AI video-generation models after its recent momentum, Citi analysts say in a research note. Citi updates its model to factor in the decent momentum of Kling, raising its target price to HK$95.00 from HK$88.00. Kling's latest model, launched in December, with a new function dubbed "motion control," has gained traction in several countries. Kuaishou's 4Q overall revenue could grow 9.6% to 38.8 billion yuan, with gross profit margin likely rising to 55.5%, the analysts say. Citi expects Kuaishou's livestreaming e-commerce business growth to continue outpacing traditional e-commerce platforms in 2026. Shares are last 1.2% higher at HK$83.30. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
