HII Awarded Missile Defense Contract With $151 Billion Ceiling

HII was awarded a contract with a ceiling of $151 billion from the Defense Department's Missile Defense Agency.
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, HII will provide a range of solutions for the agency's Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD), the company said Tuesday.
HII will bring expertise in directed energy, microelectronics and systems integration, the company said.
