By Katherine Hamilton and Nicholas G. Miller

Danaher expects fiscal fourth quarter results to land at the higher end of its previous projections.

The company said Monday it anticipates revenue will be up by a mid-single-digit percentage compared with the prior-year period. Analysts polled by FactSet had been forecasting $6.78 billion in sales, which would represent a 3.8% increase year-over-year.

Chief Executive Rainer Blair said the Washington, D.C.-based company had particular strength in its bioprocessing business during the fourth quarter, as well as better-than-expected revenue in life sciences and diagnostics.

For fiscal year 2025, the company said it forecasts adjusted earnings per share will be at the high end of the $7.70 to $7.80 range it projected in October. Analysts were estimating $7.71, according to FactSet.

In slides published for a conference on Tuesday, Danaher said it believes 2026 adjusted earnings per share will increase by a high-single-digit percentage. Core revenue is projected to grow 3% to 6% in the coming year.

Danaher also said there are opportunities for long-term value creation through strategic mergers and acquisition. It is exiting 2025 with "significant capital deployment capacity" and "meaningful capacity available to pursue value creation opportunities."

The company plans to share more details during at J.P. Morgan Chase's healthcare conference on Tuesday to further discuss fourth-quarter performance. It release its results for the fourth quarter and the full year on Jan. 28.
