A2Z Cust2Mate Solutions Shares Gain After Inking Deal With Turkish Supermarket Chain
By Connor Hart
Shares of A2Z Cust2Mate Solutions climbed after the company said its smart shopping carts will roll out across Migros Ticaret supermarket stores in Turkey.
The stock climbed 15%, to $7.86, Monday. Shares have gained 12% over the past year.
The next-generation carts--which the company said transform everyday shopping carts into connected engagement hubs blending online capabilities and in-store experiences--are set to begin rolling out during the third quarter.
The initial rollout will be to select stores, before scaling across the chain of about 3,800 stores, A2Z said.
The company said the carts are designed to enhance shopper engagement by increasing basket sizes, strengthening loyalty and delivering efficiencies across Migros' store network. The deal comes as retailers are increasingly investing in solutions that boost efficiencies, reduce shrinkage and unlock retail media revenue, according to A2Z.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
