Nike Shares Rise After CEO Hill Buys $1 Million of Shares

Nike shares rose after Chief Executive Officer Elliott Hill disclosed a purchase of roughly $1 million worth of shares.
Shares were up 2.1% to $62.46 in Wednesday morning trading. The stock has fallen 18% this year.
Hill purchased 16,388 shares for an average price of $61.10 on Monday, according to the filing. His current stake in the Beaverton, Ore., footwear-and-apparel company now totals 241,587 shares, he disclosed.
