Applied Digital Shares Rise on Loan Facility for AI Factory Campuses

By Nicholas G. Miller

Shares of Applied Digital rose after the company completed a development loan facility with Macquarie Group to fund the pre-lease development costs for new data center projects.

The stock rose 6.4% to $23.41 and has more than tripled so far this year.

"This development facility strengthens our ability to move quickly on high-quality sites while maintaining capital flexibility," said Chief Executive Wes Cummins.

Applied Digital said it is currently in advanced-stage negotiations with another investment-grade hyperscaler for multiple campuses.
