EssilorLuxottica, Burberry Renew Eyewear Licensing Deal for Next Decade

Ray-Ban maker EssilorLuxottica and British luxury group Burberry agreed to renew a licensing deal for Burberry-branded eyewear for another decade.
The companies said Thursday that an existing licensing agreement, which was due to expire on Dec. 31, has been extended through Dec. 31, 2035.
The deal covers the development, production and global distribution of eyewear under the Burberry brand, EssilorLuxottica and Burberry said. The companies have been partners since 2006, they added.
