Munich Re Sets 2030 Targets

Munich Re set out fresh profitability targets for next year and the end of the decade.

The German reinsurer said it expects a net profit of 6.3 billion euros ($7.32 billion) in 2026, citing good operational performance in all business segments. Insurance revenue should amount to 64 billion euros, with a return on investment above 3.5%.

By the end of 2030, the company said it expects a return on equity above 18% and earnings per share to grow annually by more than 8% on average. Munich Re also expects a solvency ratio above 200% by the end of the decade.

The group said it would share more details of its new 2030 targets on Thursday.
