Google in Talks With Meta for TPU Chips, The Information Says, Citing Sources
-- Google is in talks with customers such as Meta Platforms and financial institutions to sell tensor processing unit chips for their own data centers, the Information reports, citing unnamed sources.
-- Meta uses Nvidia chips at the moment and is in discussions to spend billions of dollars in using Google TPUs for its data centers in 2027 and rent chips from Google Cloud next year, the Information reports.
