Vodacom Group Mulls Stake Increase in Safaricom, Bloomberg Says, Citing Sources
--Vodacom Group is considering acquiring part of the Kenyan government's stake in Safaricom, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
--The South Africa-based telecommunications company--which already owns 39.93% stake in Safaricom--is planing to increase its stake in the business, but no final decisions have been made yet, Bloomberg says.
--Vodacom and Safaricom declined to comment when approached by Bloomberg. Kenyan National Treasury officials weren't immediately available to comment.
