Google Partners with Turkcell to Launch Google Cloud in Turkey

By Nicholas Miller

Google agreed to a partnership with Turkish technology and telecommunications provider Turkcell to bring Google Cloud services to Turkey.

As part of the partnership, Turkcell will invest $1 billion in data centers and cloud technologies.

Turkcell said the launch of Google Cloud services in the country would allow Turkish companies to innovate faster and compete globally.

In addition to collaborating on bringing Google Cloud to Turkey, Turkcell will also use Google Cloud technologies for its own operations and will serve as a partner to resell Google Cloud services in the country.
