EQT to Sell Around 44 Million Shares in Azelis to Existing Shareholders

  STOCKHOLM--EQT agreed to sell around 44 million shares in specialty chemicals and food ingredients distributor Azelis Group to several existing shareholders. 



  The Swedish buyout group said the shares would be sold to JNE Partners, First Pacific Advisors and Temasek, among others, with the sale expected to complete Wednesday. 



  Financial terms weren't disclosed, but EQT said that following the sale it will have a stake of around 10% in the company. 



  The sale comes after EQT sold 20 million shares in Azelis earlier this year for gross proceeds of around 366 million euros ($423.9 million). 



  EQT and Canadian pension fund Public Sector Pension Investment Board bought Azelis from Apex Partners in 2018. The company was listed on Euronext Brussels in 2021.
