Sopra Steria Shares Dip After Revenue Miss

Shares in Sopra Steria dipped after the company reported a fall in third-quarter revenue and missed analysts' expectations.
The French technology company on Wednesday reported revenue of 1.32 billion euros ($1.54 billion), down 2.9% organically from the same period a year prior. Analysts expected revenue for the quarter to be 1.34 billion euros, according to compiled estimates from Visible Alpha.
Sopra Steria shares were down 2.5% at 134.50 euros in European morning trading, having fallen as much as 4.1% earlier in the session.
The company's U.K. organic revenue for the third quarter was down 9.5% at 211.5 million euros, while in Europe it fell 2.4%.
The company backed expectations of organic revenue growth between minus 2.5% and plus 0.5% for 2025, with an operating margin between 9.3% and 9.8% and free cash flow between 5% and 7% of revenue.
