Dentsply Sirona Won't Face Enforcement Action After SEC Ends Probe
By Connor Hart
Dentsply Sirona said the Securities and Exchange Commission has concluded its investigation into the company and doesn't intend to recommend any enforcement action.
The probe, initiated in May 2022, was investigating allegations regarding certain financial reporting matters submitted by current and former employees, the dental-supplies maker said in a regulatory filing Tuesday.
The manufacturer of X-ray machines and dental drills said it "views the closure without any enforcement action as a significant and favorable development." The Charlotte, N.C., company added it voluntarily contacted the SEC regarding the matter, and that it fully cooperated with the agency during the investigation.
