Transurban Says Average Daily Traffic Rose 2.7% in 1Q

SYDNEY--Transurban said motorists made more trips on its global network of toll roads in the three months through September, as it maintained a forecast for annual distribution growth of around 6%.
Transurban said average daily traffic rose by 2.7% in the period, which represents the first quarter of its 2026 fiscal year.
Greater use of the WestConnex highway contributed to 1.7% traffic growth overall in Sydney, despite the impact of heavy rainfall in the period. Average daily traffic in Melbourne and Brisbane rose by 3.2% and 2.6% in the three months, respectively.
Transburban reaffirmed expectations for a distribution of 69 Australian cents (45 U.S. cents) per security in the 12 months through June, 2026.
