-- U.K. engineering group Rolls-Royce held early-stage talks over financing options for its small nuclear reactor unit, the Financial Times reported, citing unnamed sources.
-- An initial public offering of the business is among the options being discussed but views among its shareholder base differ, the FT reports.
-- Rolls-Royce SMR--the consortium selected by the U.K. government to build a fleet of small modular reactors--told the FT that the company was "not planning for, or in the process of launching an initial public offering".
