U.S. April Nonfarm Payrolls +175K; Unemployment Rate 3.9%

U.S. employers added a seasonally adjusted 175,000 jobs in April, the Labor Department reported on Friday, less than in March and below what economists had expected.

The unemployment rate rose to 3.9% from March's 3.8%.
