UnitedHealth CFO John Rex to Add President Role
By Sabela Ojea
UnitedHealth Group's longtime Finance Chief John Rex will also act as president of the company, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The health-insurance and healthcare giant on Thursday said that Rex's added role would be effective Monday.
The company didn't disclose any details on Dirk McMahon, who was named president and operating chief in February 2021.
Rex took over UnitedHealth's financial chief and executive vice president positions in 2016. The executive first joined Optum, the company's health-services business, in those same two positions in 2012.
