ABB Motor Division Chief Tarak Mehta to Leave
By David Sachs
The head of ABB's drives and motor business, Tarak Mehta, will leave the company to take a chief executive role at another firm, the company said.
The Swiss engineering company said Wednesday that Mehta will leave the company's motion business at the end of July. It will soon begin a search for a new president of the division, ABB said.
Mehta spent 26 years at the company, which says it is the largest supplier of drives and motors in the world.
