Exxon Not Trying to Acquire Hess in Dispute, CNBC Reports
-- Exxon Mobil doesn't want to acquire Hess in its legal battle with Chevron over Guyana oil assets, CEO Darren Woods said at a conference, according to CNBC.
-- Woods said acquiring Hess isn't a goal of the company in its dispute with Chevron over a joint operating agreement involving Exxon and Hess.
-- Exxon is claiming the agreement gives the company right of first refusal over Chevron's $53 billion acquisition of Hess and has filed for arbitration.
