Colgate-Palmolive Increases Dividend 4% to 50 Cents a Share

Colgate-Palmolive increased its quarterly common stock cash dividend 4% to 50 cents a share from 48 cents a share, effective in the second quarter.
The new payout, equal to $2 a year, represents an annual yield of 2.3% based on Thursday's closing price of $88.35.
The consumer-products company said the dividend will be paid on May 15 to shareholders of record as of April 22.
