British American Tobacco Considers Partial Sale of ITC Shareholding

British American Tobacco is evaluating a possible disposal of a small part of its shareholding in Indian conglomerate ITC via an on-market block trade.

The FTSE 100 cigarette maker--which houses the Kent, Dunhill and Lucky Strike brands--said Monday that there is no certainty a transaction will proceed, nor the terms of any potential transaction.
