Aramco to Cut Heavy Crude Supply to Chinese, Indian Customers, Reuters Reports

-- Saudi Arabian Oil Co., known as Aramco, will reduce its supply of heavier crude oil to Chinese and Indian customers in April, but plans to meet its contractual crude oil volumes for most other Asian buyers, Reuters reports citing unnamed sources.

-- The reduction in the supply to Chinese and Indian customers is due to the Saudi crude oil producer and exporter conducting oilfield maintenance, the sources told Reuters.

-- It wasn't clear how much the supply of the heavy crude would be reduced by, nor which oilfields will be affected by maintenance, according to Reuters.

-- Aramco didn't immediately respond for comment when approached by Dow Jones Newswires.
