BASF Raises Prices for Key Chemicals Amid Inflation, Costs

By Mauro Orru

BASF said it is raising prices for some chemicals globally in response to inflation as well as manufacturing and logistics costs.

The German chemicals giant said Wednesday that prices for standard antioxidants and hindered amine light stabilizers for plastics applications would rise by up to 10% effective immediately or as contracts allow.

"The price adjustment is in response to the prevailing inflationary pressure and substantial increases in manufacturing and logistics costs," the company said.
