Siemens Gets Locomotive Contract From Railpool

Siemens Mobility signed a framework agreement with vehicle-rental company Railpool for the delivery of up to 250 locomotives, the companies said Tuesday.
The mobility business of the German industrial conglomerate received a first call of 70 locomotives from the Vectron family with the signing of the contract, the companies said. The agreement expands Railpool's Vectron fleet to a total of 228 locomotives.
