AbbVie Raises Quarterly Dividend by 4.7% to $1.55

AbbVie's board has raised the biopharmaceutical company's quarterly dividend by 4.7%, to $1.55 from $1.48.
The new payout, equal to $6.20 a year, represents an annual yield of about 4.27% based on Thursday's closing price of $145.20, up from 4.08%.
The North Chicago, Ill., company on Friday said the increased dividend is payable Feb. 15 to shareholders of record Jan. 16.
