Flutter Entertainment 1Q Revenue Rose Following Robust US Performance
By Michael Susin
Flutter Entertainment said Wednesday that first-quarter revenue rose, supported by a robust performance in the U.S. market.
The FTSE 100 gambling and betting group said revenue for the first three months of the year came in at 2.41 billion pounds ($3 billion) from GBP1.57 billion in the same period a year ago.
The U.S. market outperformed, with revenue increasing to GBP908 million from GBP429 million in the same period a year ago. U.K. and Ireland rose to GBP608 million from GBP519 million.
The company has received shareholder support for the addition of a U.S. listing, it said.
"The strategic and capital markets benefits this will bring to Flutter will position the group well for its next phase of growth," the company said.
