Atlas Copco Buys US Distributor of Vacuum Equipment and Services

STOCKHOLM--Atlas Copco AB said Tuesday that it has acquired the assets of James E. Watson & Co., a distributor of vacuum equipment and service solutions.
The Swedish industrial tool maker said the acquired business has 7 employees and is present throughout the southeast region of the U.S., serving mainly Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. It is based near Atlanta, Ga., and provides vacuum consultancy, vacuum equipment sales and service to process industries, including production of chemicals and paper, wood working and food packaging.
The purchase price wasn't disclosed.
