CGI in Deal to Accelerate Digitization of Frankfurt Airport
By Robb M. Stewart
CGI Inc. said Tuesday it has partnered with Fraport AG to accelerate the digitization of Frankfurt Airport under a five-year framework agreement.
The information technology company said it will provide consulting, cloud solutions and managed IT services, as well as management changes to help Fraport integrate new processes and introduce new ways of working.
A key goal of the agreement is to move more of the airport's applications to the cloud as part of a strategic IT realignment, CGI said. It said the two companies will work together to lay a foundation for the integration of other advanced technologies, such as intelligent automation and artificial intelligence within the airport's operations.
