First American Financial Corporation (NYSE: FAF), a premier provider of title, settlement and risk solutions for real estate transactions and the leader in the digital transformation of its industry, announced today that Great Place to Work® and Fortune have named First American one of the 2026 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women™, marking the eleventh straight year the company has earned a place on the list.
“For more than a decade, this recognition has reflected the talent, leadership and dedication of the women at First American and the culture our people build together,” said Mark Seaton, CEO of First American Financial Corporation. “Nearly 70% of our employees are women and they lead at every level of the organization, bringing perspectives and capabilities that strengthen our company and enhance how we serve our customers, our communities and one another.”
To determine the Best Workplaces for Women, Great Place To Work analyzed confidential survey responses from more than 640,000 women employed by Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies that were eligible for the list. To qualify, organizations must employ at least 50 women, have at least 20 percent of non-executive managers who are women, and have at least one female C-suite executive. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer consistently positive outcomes for women, regardless of job role, work status or any other demographic identifier.
“Companies that create great experiences for women are companies that create better experiences for every employee,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “When a company can show that anyone can build a career and do their life’s work, that company is more resilient. These companies are built for the future because they invest in the future of their people.”
