Magnit Global™ Expands Conversational AI Capabilities in Magnit Pulse™
Latest release extends Magnit Pulse across collaboration platforms and VMS providers, enabling hiring managers to move from approvals to smarter workforce decisions
Magnit Global™, the global leader in contingent workforce management solutions, today announced a major expansion of Magnit Pulse™, its conversational AI platform for contingent workforce management. Magnit Pulse is now available in Slack and, for the first time, supports client programs running on SAP Fieldglass. The release also adds unique Magnit capabilities to the platform: Pay Intelligence, SourceMatch, quick requisition creation, and an MCP server that lets organizations connect their own AI agents to Pulse.
The company launched Magnit Pulse in June 2026 inside Microsoft Teams for Magnit vendor management systems (VMS) clients. This release extends the platform to additional collaboration tools and VMS platforms that clients use for their contingent workforce programs. Hiring managers can now work in Slack as well as Teams, and those on SAP Fieldglass programs get the same experience Magnit VMS clients already rely on.
“Hiring managers should be able to manage their contingent workforce without jumping between tools or learning new software, and Magnit Pulse allows them to do just that. With no separate logins to remember and no training required, managers get time back for more strategic priorities. And, because Pulse integrates directly with existing VMS compliance frameworks, CFOs and procurement leaders are assured their policies and standards are fully compliant.”
— Alan Gilchrest, Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Magnit Global
In addition to adding Pulse capabilities in Slack, the latest release delivers:
- Quick requisition creation. Managers can start a new requisition through a short conversation in Teams or Slack.
- Pay Intelligence. Managers can see real-time pay rate trends across roles, skills, and locations in Pulse so they can price a role competitively at the moment they request it.
- SourceMatch. Magnit’s intelligent recommendation engine is also now available via Pulse. It helps streamline contingent workforce sourcing by guiding hiring managers to the right fulfillment channel for a given role using market rate and talent insights.
- Support for SAP Fieldglass. Hiring managers on Fieldglass-based programs can approve timesheets, act on work orders, and stay ahead of their workforce without leaving Microsoft Teams. They receive the same product and experience as Magnit VMS users.
Together with the earlier release, Pulse’s capabilities enable managers to make better-informed decisions, fill requisitions faster, and ensure compliance is enforced in the flow of their work.
The new capabilities are available now in Microsoft Teams, Slack, and via API and MCP for Magnit VMS clients, with Teams support for SAP Fieldglass client programs. Magnit plans to continue expanding Pulse with more Slack capabilities and support for additional VMS platforms, with the end goal of making contingent workforce management for hiring managers as simple as asking a question.
