Peak+ Unveils Data Center Adiabatic Pre-Cooling Demo Truck

Mobile demonstration unit will crisscross North America, bringing adiabatic pre-cooling directly to data center operators and demonstrating how the technology reduces peak condenser air temperatures.

Peak+ Energy, a leader in adiabatic pre-cooling systems, today announced the launch of Adiabatic Pre-Cooling in Action, a trailer-mounted air-cooled chiller that puts this solution in front of data center owners, operators, and engineers.

The demo truck features the fully operational Peak+ CORE and Peak+ HALO adiabatic pre-cooling systems on a trailer-mounted air-cooled chiller. Working condenser fans, live water supply, and functional controls let you watch adiabatic assist perform in real time.

As the mobile unit moves throughout North America, data center end-users will have an opportunity to see Peak+ technologies in action, speak with Peak+ engineers, and evaluate how adiabatic pre-cooling improves heat rejection. The unit features one trailer, with two technologies: Peak+ CORE and Peak+ HALO.

Peak+ CORE

  • Designed specifically for v-coil style air-cooled chillers
  • Factory- or field-installable form factor
  • Integrates directly in front of the condenser coil
  • Prevents chiller derate due to recirculation and/or generator exhaust

Peak+ HALO

  • A frame-based system
  • Wraps around existing equipment, including air-cooled chillers, dry coolers, DX units, remote condensers, and even generator inlets.
  • Perfect for new construction and retrofits
  • The go-to when deep temperature drops are required

”Data center operators are demanding adiabatic assist systems with low water usage and easy maintainability to mitigate high ambient temperatures,” said Paul Heapy, Vice President of Business Development at Peak+. “Bringing this demonstration unit directly to the people making cooling decisions for the next generation of digital infrastructure gives them the opportunity to experience firsthand how our system uses minimal water to precisely suppress the entering air temperature before it enters the coils.”

The truck made its public debut at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas for the Yotta 2026 conference. The next public demonstrations will be at DCD Connect in Leesburg, VA, November 3-4, and then Advancing Data Center Design & Engineering East in Herndon, VA, November 17-18.

About Peak+

Peak+ designs, engineers, manufactures, and commissions innovative, robust, and precise adiabatic pre-cooling technology to pre-cool air before it crosses the coils of air-cooled equipment. Peak+ systems reduce peak energy demand, prevent derated cooling capacity, extend compressor life, and reduced carbon footprint. The Peak+ team works alongside customer teams to provide proven solutions that meet each customer’s use case requirements, by harnessing evaporative pre-cooling benefits with an intense focus on minimal water use and proper water stewardship. With robust precision, Peak+ systems optimize the achievement of target cooled dry bulb temperatures in front of condenser coils, using advanced algorithms, real-time data, optimized controls, and rapid-response US-based supply chain.
