GuidePoint Security Joins AWS Security Hub Extended as a Services Partner

GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity advisor organizations rely on to protect what matters most, today announced that it has joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Hub Extended as a services partner. GuidePoint brings advisory and implementation expertise to help organizations navigate, deploy and optimize the AWS and third-party security technologies available through AWS Security Hub Extended.

AWS Security Hub Extended is a plan within AWS Security Hub that is designed to unify security operations across AWS and participating partner tools, simplifying how customers procure, deploy and integrate a full-stack enterprise security solution. Findings from participating tools are normalized using the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF), so risks that span domains surface together.

GuidePoint complements those technologies with services that help customers assess their needs, prepare their AWS environments and put the right security capabilities to work. Its four offerings include:

  • AI Readiness Assessment: Helps organizations evaluate AI security and governance considerations, identify gaps and establish priorities before expanding AI adoption.
  • Cloud Assessments: Evaluate cloud architecture, controls and operational readiness to identify risks and develop a prioritized improvement plan.
  • Secure Landing Zone: Establishes a secure foundation with governance, identity, logging and security controls aligned to the organization's requirements.
  • Secure Migration: Integrates security into cloud migration planning and execution to help protect workloads and data throughout the transition.

"AWS Security Hub Extended gives customers access to a broad range of security technologies. GuidePoint brings the experts who know how to put those technologies to work," said Mark Thorberry, SVP, Partnerships at GuidePoint Security. “We start with each customer's architecture and risk priorities, then match the right solutions to their environment and build the controls around them."

This announcement builds on GuidePoint Security’s experience helping customers select, implement and manage cybersecurity technologies in AWS environments, including solutions available through AWS Marketplace.
