Three U-Haul Companies across Nebraska and Iowa are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage at 35 U-Haul centers to assist flood victims needing a dry and secure storage solution.

In Omaha, intense storms on Wednesday made it one of the city’s wettest days on record. Flash flooding also hit parts of Iowa, with excessive rain prompting warnings in some counties and increasing the threat of river flooding.

Many homeowners and businesses have been affected and may need help due to flooding on their properties.
