The First & Only Viscoelastic Testing System FDA-Cleared for Peripartum Obstetric Procedures

The Quantra® Hemostasis System with QStat® Cartridge received FDA 510(k) clearance in August 2025 for use in peripartum obstetric procedures. The system provides a rapid, comprehensive assessment of a patient’s coagulation status at the point of need, with results typically available in less than 15 minutes. It is the first and only viscoelastic testing platform that is FDA-cleared for obstetric bleeding.
Premier’s Innovation Celebration is entering its 15th year of recognizing and honoring healthcare supplier innovation. More than 600 suppliers exhibit at the Breakthroughs Conference each year. Winners are selected by a national committee of clinicians, physicians, and supply chain experts who evaluate each technology and its impact on patient care.
