For the third consecutive year, BrightView Landscapes employees will wear specially designed pink hats throughout the month of October as they care for landscapes, maintain properties, and serve communities across the country.
For the third consecutive year, BrightView (NYSE: BV), the nation’s leading commercial landscaping company, is bringing its team members together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, BrightView employees will wear specially designed pink hats as they care for landscapes, maintain properties, and serve communities across the country.
The annual tradition is more than a change in uniform. It is a highly visible reminder that breast cancer awareness belongs everywhere – from the properties BrightView teams care for each day to the communities they call home.
“We continue to see the impact this campaign has on our people and the communities we serve,” said Amanda Orders, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at BrightView. “The pink hat is a simple symbol, but when our team members across the country wear it together, it becomes something much bigger. It represents awareness, support, and our commitment to standing together for a cause that touches so many lives.”
From commercial properties and residential communities to golf courses, sports venues, educational institutions and healthcare facilities, BrightView team members will proudly wear pink while doing what they do every day – creating and maintaining some of the nation’s most prominent landscapes.
In addition to providing pink hats to team members, BrightView will make a charitable donation to Susan G. Komen, continuing the company’s support for breast cancer research, education and advocacy.
Now in its third year, the Pink Hat campaign has become an annual BrightView tradition – one that brings together employees across the company and demonstrates how a small symbol can make a big statement.
