Relation Insurance Acquires LaPlaca Insurance, Inc.
Relation Insurance Services (“Relation”) announced today their acquisition of the assets of LaPlaca Insurance, Inc. (“LaPlaca”). The transaction went into effect on June 30, 2026; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“My father founded LaPlaca in 1988, building a successful agency on quality and trust,” said Anne La Placa, Vice President. “We were excited to find a partner in Relation that focuses on the same values, while greatly enhancing our resources and capabilities so we can better serve our clients.”
Located in Chalfont, Pennsylvania, LaPlaca serves the greater Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey areas along with several other states. The firm offers business insurance, employee benefits, and personal lines solutions.
