Rosetta Technologies Appoints Industry Veteran Ari Mellon as CEO
Rosetta Technologies Corporation, RICOH’s strategic MICR partner and key player in enterprise print and check processing systems, has appointed Ari Mellon as chief executive officer.
Mellon brings 26 years of proven success in the imaging and print technology industry, including roles at Kodak, Xerox, RICOH, Quadient and Avery Dennison. Most recently, Mellon served as global vice president of sales and marketing at TROY Group. He helped TROY expand into new markets, increase recurring revenue growth, improve operational performance, and transform the sales and marketing functions.
As CEO of Rosetta Technologies, Mellon will focus on market identification, operational excellence, and accelerating strategic initiatives. His background encompasses market analysis, organizational alignment, go-to-market strategy, and revenue execution across North America and international markets.
"Rosetta sits at the intersection of a stable MICR print security market. There is significant space to optimize diversification and operations," said Mellon. "Throughout my career, I've built a reputation for identifying untapped markets, aligning talented teams around bold strategies, and delivering beyond expectations. The company has strong assets and a clear path to become a more dominant force in enterprise print production solutions. I'm energized by the opportunity to bring this proven approach to bear and build something truly exceptional here."
“Ari's appointment reflects our commitment to driving the next phase of Rosetta's growth,” said Brent Taylor, chairman of the board. “His strategic perspective, operational discipline, technology experience, and commitment to customers and employees align closely with Rosetta’s values and long-term objectives. We are confident in his ability to leverage Rosetta's competitive advantages while positioning us for expansion.”
Mellon succeeds Leonard Stone, who will support the leadership transition through December 2026 and continue on the board of directors.
“Ari’s experience, leadership capabilities, and drive for excellence are exactly what Rosetta needs. I have every confidence in the company’s continued growth under his leadership. He inherits an exceptional team whose dedication, perseverance, and loyalty have been among the greatest privileges of my time with Rosetta. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside them,” Stone said.
